What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, + so, i reckon we have been building our stamina all this time.
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we where all going direct to Heaven, we were all going the other way... -Dickens
i’ll be on costume deadline for a while.
Not knowing if i’ll make it to the screen very often to post - but i’ll be watching you, even when you don’t hear of me.
A very beautiful post. I love your journal cover. The Dickens quote is still making me smile. Thank you, and a prosperous new year full of luck, inspiration, myth and magic x
ReplyDeletein the midst of the winter of despair..but a bright sun and the puppies dogged determination to plow through the snow banks makes it seem a bit less dreary. Cheers and careful with those sewing needles.
ReplyDeleteMake the costumes faster so that you can blog more! :))
ReplyDeleteLet's see...
ReplyDelete22 vehicle accidents
27 electrocutions
7 hostile war zones
12 family medical curses( that I know of )
3 bad teeth
Surviving every type storm Mother Nature can throw at me( sans an earthquake )...
And I did it all in only 42 years!
But I'm still here...why? I don't feel any stronger, not physically anyway. I must be strong mentally then, right?
We live in interesting times, no doubt of it.
ReplyDeletebut my hope is 2010 is moving on to the best of times...nice pic!

ReplyDeleteLynne, It is an interesting fact that one cannot see the circle until complete.
Ahhh, but is the circle ever really complete???
ReplyDeleteCheers!
MH, I guess I refered to the BIG circle, when death completes the circle and the body of work then stands on its very own.
