ar is not nice. -Barbara Bush You can't say that civilization don't advance, however, for in every war they kill you in a new way. -Will Rogers The art of war is simple enough. Find out where your enemy is. Get at him as soon as you can. Strike him as hard as you can, and keep moving on. -Ulysses S. Grant War is a cowardly escape from the problems of peace. -Thomas Mann
It is well that war is so terrible - otherwise we would grow too fond of it. -Robert E. Lee War may sometimes be a necessary evil. But no matter how necessary, it is always an evil, never a good. 1. May I do a LINK to this post of yours, on these quotes about war, complete with your illustrations?
I usually do "peace-only" quotes, as I fear being anti-war(fearing "anti"-anything being a "negative" energy), choosing only Pro-Peace. But war must be addressed, yes? Yes, it must.

  2. You may link the post.... I completely agree, with allowing of anti-energy just brings importance and fear to the unwanted thing itself. Mother Teresa: “I was once asked why I don't participate in antiwar demonstrations. I said that I will never do that, but as soon as you have a pro-peace rally, I'll be there.”
But on the other hand, in this case, I do think good and interesting to hear our regarded forefathers simplified hits on it.
