His mother swore he would never enter a draft of any kind.
Hinesfortothen, he never caught a chill, was not used as an editor, nor shot by a speeding bullet.
Butyetasnow, he had managed to end up here.

Happy TT eve.

  1. How this gnaws at my head, and infects my heart. How beautiful is this sallow, youth who is protected from slings and arrows. How affecting is the written hand, with its jumble of spacings and slantings. And upon examination, the manuscript yields much other 'evidence'.

This is a seriously beautiful post.

    Thank you.

  9. Julie - I am verklimpt.

California Girl - This is from a codex (reworking of a hymn book) I'm working on "Some of My Best Friends". The folks here-in are all inmates from an asylum, or not. Thanks for wondering. -J
